I came up with this idea while chatting with Dopefish about how basejk is not really used anymore and it's all about league mod.
Now, before I go any furthur, I am not in any way talking negative about league mod.
League has a very interesting play-style. Some parries get cancelled out (particularly with red) and at times there are a few broken animations. Not to mention at times the ending results with damage is off by a bit sometimes (Spent about 3 hours testing ;d).
On behalf of JJ, I present to you guys, zedi'mod.
zedi'mod was orignally known as "JJ Duel Mod" but I honestly did not like the name of this,
and considering JJ already has a mod.
What are the features of zedi'mod?
There really is not too much fanciness going on that people have not seen before.
ADMIN FEATURES
Platformed off of basejk, the first feature that was added is an admin system.
A UNIVERSAL admin system I should say.
Controlled by 1 cvar, "iidx_password" which can be set to your liking.
Example:

Could not be any simpler.
ADMIN COMMANDS
/amkick - kicks client from server
/amstatus - displays all client information including IP's, health, dueling status
/amrename - self explanatory
/amshowmotd - self explanatory
/amgametype - change gametype and map
/amcheats - self explanatory
/amcshader - swap shaders on the map
/amget - teleports a player to you
/amgoto - teleports you to a player
/amtelegun - teleports you wherever your crosshair is pointing to
/amremote - remote rcon
OTHER FEATURES
The clientside that is downloaded for the mod changes quite a few nifty things.
First noticeable thing is the scoreboard. Scoreboard now displays a K/D ratio.
This is 100% accurate to how jk2's scoring works, along with team-based games.
Second thing is making other players invisible when you are in a duel. This is not the first time anybody has seen this really, just figured it would be necessary.
There really isn't too much else with the clientside, other than being able to extend your fov up to 160 (kind of just for fun I guess). The clientside is really small, it's only like 2MB or less I believe.
I added a cvar called "g_nokickdmg". When set to 1, this will do absolutely no kick damage. Not 1hp, but none.
There is no custom cvar to lock teams, however I do plan on adding some similar to the way league mod works.
For now, you can use the cvar "g_maxgameclients" which is set to a numeric value like 4 (for 2v2) or 6 (for 3v3). Normally it does not display any message to people who try to join but I did add that feature. It just says that the teams are locked.
The bots that play in game are extremely aggressive now...they pretty much follow your every move.
